Has anyone got the E series Latitudes with the new Encrypted Hard Drives with FDE (Full Disk Encryption)?

What has the performance of the encrypted drives been like? Are they as fast as the non-encrypted versions? Or any noticable difference? Any issues so far?

    Thanks.

OK, it has been a year...now does anyone have experience with the Latitude FDE drives?
