    Hi,

    Unable to connect Acer external monitor to my Dell Latitude D630 laptop ?!

    Error - No Signal

    I used to able to connect the laptop to the monito but recently it's giving a No Signal error message.

    Somebody pls. advise.

    Have you gone into your display properties and enabled the second monitor?

    Right click Desktop or goto Control Panel ?

    Either or. In Vista I believe it's Right Click Desktop > Properties > Whatever the last item that pops into the control panel is > Select the second monitor and check "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor". You may also have a graphics driver that can configure anything else...like cloning.

    Most laptops have a shortcut for that, usually Fn+F4 .

    Rofl. My bad. Totally forgot about that since I'm using a desktop ATM. Yes, they do have that option.
