Is it possible to get this thing to work and if so what exactly does it do? I can't find any info on how it works and what its used for. I'm running Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have no idea how to make it work.

I have Dell ControlPoint installed. What else do i need?

You want to install the 'security software' from the dell driver site...I think it's listed as "control point security software"

then launch it and enroll fingerprints, etc. I'm on my Vostro now

In device manager, i do have one device that is not recognized, it is saying:

    Other devices
    !Data Interface
    !Data Interface
    !Data Interface
    !Data Interface

i always just assumed that it was the verizon mini card drivers not installed which i don't use.
