I have a m4500 with a Samsung 64GB SSD minicard, which currently has the VBM72D1Q firmware; I would like to update the firmware to the latest version (VBM73D1Q) as recommended at the Dell site. I have downloaded the files from the web site, set the drives to AHCI in BIOS, put the files into a bootable USB drive, etc. When I boot to DOS from the USB drive, I am able to run the firmware update program, but the program indicates that it cannot find a disk that can be updated, even though the pdf file that comes with the firmware update specify that it can be used to update from VBM72D1Q to VBM73D1Q.

Has anybody been able to update the firmware to a 64 GB minicard SSD?
