    only thing is the fan is always on. the air coming out is cool and palm rest is cool to touch. i would like to upgrade my fan if possible, not sure if it is. i have no issue with the flexible keyboard of the lid, that stuff is fine. but the loudness of the fan is annoying.

    why dont they have an option for a better cooling system. id pay up to a 100$ premium

    Check if Dell has issued a BIOS update. They often have problems getting the fan rules correct.

    What CPU utilisation do you have and what temperatures are reported by HWmonitor?
