I tried to post this in the owner's thread, but it got lost in the shuffle. I have a new Dell m6600 with an nvidia Quadro 3000m video card, and I'm getting extreme graphical artifacts in the CAD models I'm working with. Spurious lines, spikey triangles, dark patches, holes in surfaces, etc. They get worse and accumulate as you rotate the models around. I've updated to the latest nvidia drivers; no help. I'm starting to believe that the video card may be bad. Is there any way that I can test or confirm this? Does this problem sound like it might be a hardware problem?

    Thanks.

Definitely sounds like a Video Chip/RAM issue.

Other than replacement, I could suggest getting software like RivaTuner to downclock your card to see if it's simply a cooling issue, or if the artifacts stick, then you'll know you need to get it fixed.

Hi Borodog, one question do you have the Optimus activated?.. cause i was getting artifacts when working on Autodesk Maya, cause the driver didnt switch correctly when i load and OpenGl apps, so when i desactivated in the bios the optimus all the artifacts gone..... just my 2 cents....
