Recently, I've been interested in multi-OS systems. After doing quite a bit of research, I can't seem to find one that really suits my needs.

Dell LatitudeON is a really good concept. Sadly it's LatitudeON Reader simply lacks to many important functions that renders it almost useless. The real LatitudeON with the ARM processor cost a whopping 240bucks. For that amount I can buy a couple of 6 cell batteries and have a full day on Windows, albeit with the extra weight.

The Dell LatitudeON button does open up some interesting possibilities. While Dell's BIOS configuration doesn't have any option for dual-boot, we know that when the Dell's LatitudeON button is pressed, it looks for an alternative boot file which loads It probably bypasses the MBR and boot.ini or BCD.

There are alot of Linux based instant on solutions out there and also full linux based OS which can probably boot faster than Windows. I'm wondering if there is a way to rig it, maybe just by some simple file renaming to get the DellLatitudeON button to boot into another OS of my choice.

I'm new to this, so I'm hoping some pro here can guide or help me to get this running.

Great idea, although I don't have that button I'd be very interested to hear of this solution.
