    Hello all -
I have a dell e6410 that is my work computer. It is equipped with wireless and has a dvd player that provides video and audio.
At home, I have a wireless high speed internet.

Can I buy a 6' display port to hdmi and be able to watch and listen to netflix?

    Thanks

Should work. There is/was an issue where you must use the Dell.com video driver to get audio out the DisplayPort (vs. nVidia). Try what you've got first. The wireless speed should trump the ISP bottle neck. Don't leave the notebook inlets sitting in the carpet.

I would recommend getting a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, then using a regular HDMI cable (just for standarizing, HDMI to HDMI is more universal).

If audio over DisplayPort doesn't work, you can always connect a 3.5mm audio cable.
