    Hey guys,

I have some problems getting my M6600 running in the AHCI mode. I am using a SSD for booting and a 1TB hard drive for other data.

When I change it in the bios my laptop wouldnt boot anymore.

I am on the road right now and I really would appreciate your help.

    Thank you very much.

    Hm,

is this especially for the M6600?

Because when I do this and then when I change in the BIOS the settings to AHCI my laptop wont reboot...

    Thanks for the help.

Btw: How do I reinstall my OS on the M6600? I would like to get ridd of all the DELL Applications that are unnecessary.

    Thx.

Unfortunately the M6600 has issues booting with AHCI enabled and some SSDs. For sure the vertex 2, not 100% sure about any other SSDs.
