I got some problems on the video card on my latitute D620 and need to replace the current motherboard in order to get it work again. The current model number on my board is HAL00 with core 2 duo cpu SL9SF and 4 GB DDR2 memory. Can I replace the motherboard with the following type:

    1. R894J.
    2. RT932.

Or I have to use HAL00?

Any comments will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks!

As long as the motherboard is for the D620 and has the type of graphics you want (preferably Intel to avoid Nvidia overheating issues), you should be fine. Part numbers can be a mess at times.

    Thanks Robin24k!

I did want to change to Intel graphics card, however, my main concern is that can I still get 1080i/p resolution through DVI from the docking if using intel onbard graphics?

    Thanks again!

You can still output full HD through the dock DVI port if you get a motherboard with the Intel graphics solution.
