Afternoon All, I'm trying to help a mate out just now with a Latitude E5410 Laptop - basically he's having problems with the screen and needs to get it repaired via the bundled Dell UK warranty.

The catch is the laptop isn't showing up against the service tag number (which I've pulled from the BIOS) when searching for warranty support via the Dell Tech Support website - he's been asked by Dell to provide the express code but the sticker is missing from the bottom of the laptop.

Are there any utilities that can be downloaded and used to scan the BIOS/Motherboard to pick-up the express code # or am I just clutching at straws?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Solution Found! Had a good look around and found a couple of websites that can generate the express code based upon your service tag # but also vice versa.

Listed below is a link to one of the sites I tried, which worked pretty well (tested it out with a confirmed service tag & express code # off of my Latitude D630).

Should be able to find it in the BIOS too

The BIOS only shows the service tag # and not the express code. :)
