    Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum, to which I have subscribed some weeks ago before purchasing a Precision M6600 that arrived last week.

I am very happy with his built quality and performance. However I am not a real power user, in the sense that I am not going to use CAD software nor gaming like perhaps the majority of posters here. I just wanted a robust system to use 95% of the time hookked to an external monitor.

Everything is working fine, except that I am not able to wake it up from the external keyboard or mouse when the lid is closed. To wake it up I have to open the lid and FN-F8 to swich off the LCD panel. With this keyboard however I was able to wake up my previous Vista PC. Should the keyboard be absolutely Win 7 compatible? Or is there a particular setting in the OS that allows to do what I need?

    Many thanks in advance

    Mario Cerutti
