Well, I am going to receive m6600 tomorrow and I found out the service tag.

After doing a lot of research, I was able to simply conclude that this laptop had a number of parts replaced on it before it was returned to Dell - which is concerning.

    LCD Back Cover
    LCD Display itself
    Motherboard
    LCD Bezel
    Motherboard (Again)
    Wireless card

Like I said in the title - ignorance is bliss :/

So you pulled up the service history?

Just hope they were scamming Dell to get a better replacement machine. That stuff happens. Maybe they did something stupid with the machine and you can fix it. Hopefully Dell already fixed it.

    I didn't, but I had some help.

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they wanted the new 2960XM instead of the older 2920XM - who knows. I just hope I don't end up with a abused machine. Luckily I spoke to someone else at Dell and they stated if the machines has any issues when I get it, and they will make good on it.
