    Dear Friends,

I have a E6500 with vista business, and I want to instal an XP after this OS, but I can't do this.
I know I can instal with some softwares like vmware but I want to instal it with seprate boot.
I did this task on D830 but on E6500, I can't do that.

    Thanks.

    Reinstall everything...xp first, then vista.

You can try running the Vista disc and using the repair util afterwards to fix your MBR. I've had it work before, but I've also had it not work plenty of times. Worth trying before reinstall them both though.

To properly install Windows XP after Vista has been installed is to use a program utility called EasyBCD. :)
