Intel WiFi 5300 Question

    Getting ready to do a clean install on my Latitude E4300 in my sig.

    Just wanted to know, is it better to use the driver provided by Dell's Driver downloads or should I grab the Intel Driver from Intel's site?

    Windows will install the necessary drivers. My feeling is that both the Intel drivers and the custom Dell drivers for wifi are bloat. Windows seems to manage the 5300 quite well. Just my opinion...

    Well, I went ahead and installed the Intel drivers. Took awhile for someone to reply so I took action.

    I'm quite happy with the Intel driver. It seems to work well. No troubles yet. I just installed the driver, not the ProSet Utility.

    Glad it worked out... Just installed Win7 RTM on my m4400 - didn't need any drivers for the Intel 5300. Just an FYI.
