This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    DisplayPort definitely carries audio, unless you only use it with a DVI adaptor.

    The T400 has the WXGA+ screen; it is not LED backlit, though.

    And this should be important to the OP: there is a 15% outlet coupon that just came out this morning.

    Definitely. I'm working on trying to get them to credit me back at least some amount as I actually ordered it yesterday. See my other thread that I linked to above if you have any advice.
