Hi, wasnt sure if this is the correct place, please can a mod move it if it isn't.

I have a dell vostro 1520, the keyboard has recently been functioning oddly.
It will work fine all the way up untill entering my login password for windows. At this stage I am able to key in my password with out any lag or sign of issue but once I am logged in the keyboard is completely un responsive, the touch media buttons at the top of the keyboard register my touch but don't do anything on the computer. The touchpad also works fine.
In the past I have tried restarting to solve this which worked fine but now nothing seems to be working. Everything else seems to work fine, I can navigate the computer as long as I use the mouse but can't type anything which is a big problem.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Turned out to be that i had plugged in a logitech keyboard a while ago which installed a logitech virtual keyboard program, removing this solved my issues.
