Laptop dilema: Help me decide between Dell or Lenovo

    no i don't have my own OS disks.. I'd like to use Windows 7 when I do a clean install.

    Good idea. I will too. Do you know if you will get a true OS DVD from Lenovo, or another OS+Lenovo DVD from them when W7 is released? (i.e. preventing a "clean install"). Lenovo are at present developing their add-on software for W7 (including the important gpu-switching software). I guess that will be ready by then. Or will you get a W7 install DVD from third party (Microsoft?).

    i'll most likely get a copy from Microsoft... i bought my unit from the states.. it would be probably be an obstacle to get Lenovo to send me a copy in Canada :D in the mean time, i think i'm going to search the net for windows 7 rtm :D got any leads? haha

    think its best to start a thread on that in the lenovo or OS/Software subforum...kind of going off topic now
