I am going to purchase a E6400 from the outlets and i had a couple questions before i do so.

I have been looking for Previously ordered new. Should i continue to only look in this catagory or should i venture into the refurbished?

Also as far as video cards is the better of the cards the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M With PC-Card

and should i get the 14.1 inch Widescreen WXGA LED Display
or te 14.1 inch ultrasharp Widescreen WXGA+ LED Display I hear the LG is the better of the screens how can i make it so my chances of getting one is better?

    Thanks

    Joseph

Seeing as Dell offers a pretty good return policy, and a 3-year warranty, I don't think it'll hurt to look around in the Refurbished section.

"Better" is subjective. For graphics-intensive applications, yes the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M is the best graphics card available on the E6400.

That depends on how big you want things on your screen to appear. The WXGA+ screen will have smaller pixels, and will fit more stuff on the screen. I would recommend the WXGA+ screen, as it's great on a 14".

It's a lottery. There's no way to make sure you get an LG monitor from the Outlet machines.

1.) Doesn't really matter, they're both going to work.
2.)The NVIDIA Quadro is the better of the two, but runs quite hot
3.) Get the WXGA+ LED, you'll thank me for it later. More resolution is always better
4.) It's completely random. People never know what kind of screen theyre going to get until they actually have it.
