Rebuilding a Latitude D520, and decided to swap out the Dell 1390 Broadcom card for an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300. Just one slight problem: the antenna cables for the laptop are too short, which prevents installing the card into the PCI-e WLAN slot. An extender will allow the card to be inserted, but then the leads won't reach. I've looked at the half-to-full adapter cards, as well, but even with the added length, I don't think that will help with the cable length issue (I'd say I'm about 1-2 cm off, depending on what I use).

Here's what I DO know about the cables:

Full length (from screen cable connection to WLAN slot on MoBo): 275 mm
    MiniCard Connectors: U.FL

I don't know what the connectors are at the base/screen junction, but if I can find one that's roughly a foot in length (i.e. 30 cm/300 mm), that may help, but it needs to have the U.FL and whatever the other connector is, and also, it looks like two male ends (for the gray and black at the junction) and one female end (for the white at the junction).

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
