M4500 Fan always on

My M4500 Fan is almost always on at 2.6k rpm and doesnt get lower than 50C. Should I be worried or

    No harm in asking the tech if they're coming.

    I thought there was something wrong with my temps when I first got my M4500, but the paste job was fine, it was just the hot i series coupled with very relaxed fan profile, using new Tuniq paste didn't make much difference....maybe a couple of degrees, hopefully your continuous fan will be fixed after a looking at though, let us know.

    ^^ Yeah, I agree, the i7's run somewhat hot and in certain cases require fan profile adjustments. I did it on my HP 8740w with HWinfo32 (fan control option). Personally, I don't care about the extra noise and would rather keep max load temps as low as possible.

    Yea, im used to much cooler temps on my single core processor on my Lat D810, dont remember what it is. So the turbo boost is dependent on keeping temps down then? If thats the case, should I keep my fan at a higher RPM than the default 2.5K it runs at normally to make it below 50? Or put the paste? I cancelled the call since I dont want them messing with it and then messing up another part. However, is it worth it to get new paste on there?
