    Hi,

I have a M4500 with the FIPS fingerprint reader. I reciently reinstalled windows 7 x64 and am having trouble getting the fingerprint reader to "connect" at the windows login screen. Before I reinstalled windows 7 the fingerprint reader worked without any issues.

Has anyone encounted this? Or know what I am doing wrong?

Make sure the latest versions of all of the following are installed:

    > Dell ControlPoint Security Device Driver Pack
    > Dell ControlPoint System Manager
    > Dell ControlPoint Security Manager Application
    > Dell ControlVault (device firmware update)
    > Dell ControlVault (utility - for fpr calibration)

You may find the PDF document at this link helpful for reimaging instructions.
