Is the ram for a m4500 compatible with a M4600? I got 2x4GB ram and am wondering if I can just transfer the modules to the M4600. anyone know? also, how many ram modules can i fit in a M4600? Still 2?

Yes, you can use it. The M4600 has 4 DDR3 SODIMM memory slots for the quad core and 2 for the dual cores.
