Where can I find Windows Server 2008 NIC drivers for a Precision M4500? Dell's website does not seem to have anything I can get to work.

    THanks!

I'm not sure why you're running Windows Server on a laptop?...

I'd assume the Windows 7 drivers should work since they are the same core OS.

I would be very surprised if you ever found anything on the Dell site that would make that work.

It has an Intel® 82567DC Gigabit Ethernet Controller, so I would probably try something like this: Network Adapter Driver for Windows Server 2008 R2*

This laptop will be used to demo our software. It was requested we put 08 server on it if possible so the demo has the same platform. Our other option will be to use VmWare ESXi but the preference is to try this first.

Windows 7 drivers unfortunately do not work...

Thanks for the Intel link. Downloading now, I will give them a try and post back.

I think you'll be better off using Windows 7 and running Virtual PC or VMware. Running server natively will restrict the usability of the machine and tie it down to just this one task.

For what it's worth, I run a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine on my M4500 using VMWare Workstation. It work's very well.
