i put in an ocz vertex 2 and use the included hard drive as secondary storage. runs lightning fast, though those new vertex 3s are getting pretty cheap as well with MIR

I can't say more about about the Mushkin Callisto Deluxe SSD's or there new Chronos series. Great, reliable drives and wonderful support. Customer support can't com pair to the big companies. All built in the US also. Never had a problem.

Can somebody clarify the HDD slot availability in M6600? I thought it can fit 2 x 2.5" drives + mSATA without having to remove the optical drive?

Does raid have to be enabled from the factory or can it be turned on later? I am only planning on buying one hdd but may want to enable raid down the road.

    Hi again !

I am having troubles with my reps to get clear information.
I want to go for mSATA 128Go SSD as primary HD + 250Go HDD, but they say it's not possible, that the 2nd HDD must be SSD as well.

Having read that some of you have managed the mcard SSD + HDD configuration, could you explain me how you did ?

    Thanks.

As long as you are not in a RAID configuration you can mix and match the 128GB mSATA SSD with any HDD or SSD.
