Has anyone here gotten the m4600 with the Bluray option?

If so, does the Bluray play well on battery power?

How long does the battery last when playing a bluray?

I am about the pull the trigger, but don't want to waste the $$$ on the Bluray drive if I can't use it while traveling.

    Thanks in advance!

I own an 4600 w/ the BR writer, but unfortunately didn't try yet to really use it, I will use it moslty for creating BR movies with CS5.
It's a tray load, not a slot load.
Once I will look a BR movie on battery, i'll tell you about the autonomy.

Unfortunately, I don't have any BR movie disc on the hand for the time, so I need a friend to lend me one...:)

I thought that was UJ-242. I have matsh*ta too. It' from panasonic but I don't know why it's called Matsh*ta. It's the same, both of them, but UJ-242 burn Blu-ray's faster and it can burn DVD DL, UJ232 can't burn DVD DL, but I have two DVD-RW optical drives for my laptop, so it's not problem for me. :)

    Thanks for your info. ;)

Matsushita was the founder and original company name of Panasonic. Thought the name was phased out but I guess they must still use it for some components or something.
