You should know that corner tint is caused by Advanced True-White Polarizer.
You will see less IPS White Glow vertically or horizontally.

The A-TW filter is an additional film that is applied to some LCD panels with the aim of improving off-axis viewing of the display by reducing the "glow" effect that can be seen when viewing very dark images at extreme angles on S-IPS LCD panels. While it does reduce the glow effect, it can also introduce a slight coloration artifact that causes the glow to appear green when viewed from one angle, and magenta from another.

To be honest, I don't think this is (exactly) the issue we are having here.
I looked at my color tints just now - a blank website in Firefox and the Win7 bar hidden (which is especially important to see all of it).
The green/magenta casts stay there, regardless of which angle I look at them - left, straight on, right... still here and they don't change color

The easiest way to see it is to launch MS Paint, change picutre resolution to 1920x1080 and then pressing F11 (Full screen).

The cause of green/magenta tinting on IPS panels seems to be a natural behavior of IPS panels.

    Hi @N-Z
you asked me if I experience some pink corner tints... Well I'm not sure whether what I'm experiencing is abnormal or not, so I've made some pics (low light w iPhone, sorry about quality) in case they are helpful to you...
Actually the differences between the center and the corners seems to variate depending on my position, so it must be due to some light reflection...

I don't think it can be easily captured on photo. Sometimes photos show something that isn't really visible and sometimes it is unable to capture what is clearly visible.

Well, with my bare eyes I can notice some subtle pink tints but they are not on the corners, they actually move when I do so. They are probably normal and don't interfere with my very basic design tasks (not my field of expertise), but I may be not qualified to judge that...
My screen is a LGD0310 in case you want to check differences.

By the way I've seen people advising to install some software to verify the screen model, but you can see it with teh PremierColor application under "information".

You may also be getting Moire effects from the camera trying to take a picture of the screen.

Hey guys, any update on this?
M-Z - hi from poland, do you know if M6600 is also suffering from this issue? Or it's M4600 exclusive?
