Hi there, i have a M60 (bought back in 2003) that has its HDD failed. At first it had a Travelstar 60GB (IDE @ 7200rpm) with decent results. After the HDD failure i replaced it with an 80GB IDE Drive @ 5400rpm with dissapointing results (compared to the past). Since i dont want to pay a fortune for a new small 7200 IDE drive i came up against Dell D400 D410 D500 D600 M20 SATA 2nd HDD Caddy DV08 - eBay (item 250683943647 end time Jan-13-11 19:21:01 PST).

So the question is: Can i replace the optical drive with this caddy and use a WD320GB 7200 Sata Drive as the main drive of the system???
