M6400 Driver Updates

I have an M6400 and the drivers are up to date according to the Dell website. Last night, I installed the latest version of Driver Genius and ran it. DG says that 31 critical drivers are out of date!! I backed up the current drivers and am considering letting DG update.

My question is whether the drivers that come through Driver Genius will screw up more things than they might fix? Are Dell drivers so specialized that more generic ones should not be used?
