Wondering if anyone knows why the Outlet seems to have two different WUXGA screen options. One for RGB LED and one for regular LED.

Does anyone know if these are in fact distinct screens? I didn't see the LED regular as an option under the new builds.

They're distinct screens. The RGB LED has RGB backlighting, and the regular LED has WLED backlighting. You can see the options if you try to configure an "enhanced" build; 17" Wide Screen RGBLED WUXGA LCD Panel, 17" Wide Screnn WUXGA LCD Panel, and 17" Wide Screen WXGA+ LCD Panel.

Try this link if you can't find it on your own, scroll over to LCD and check the selections available.

In short, you want the RGB if it's in your price range. It's a much better display in my opinion.

If you the words "glossy RGB" in the screen description then the unit is a M6500 Covet.

    In Short:

    Glossy RGB = Covet (Orange)

    Anything else = Standard (Silver)

So i see some m6500 listed with glossy screen but they don't say anything for system color. How do I know if it's a covet?

I just found a few on the outlet with glossy screen and silver. Make sure it's not silver if you want covet.
