Hi I just ordered one of these Precisions, and I'm just wondering if they take advantage of the integrated graphics on the CPU (like for switchable graphics power saving)? Or would the engineers just completely disable the integrated graphics because of the discrete ATI M7740?

I guess my question is: would Dell use the i5 even if they don't want to use the integrated graphics at all?

The M6500 uses the i5 520M but there is no support for integrated GFX.

Yes, almost all companies thus far have blocked usage of the integrated GPU if there is a discrete GPU on board.
