    Hi,

the company I work for bought a M6500 with a fx 2800M and gave me a U2711 to use with it. The highest resolution the 2800m card gives seems to be 1080p, 1920 x 1080. I am using a dual DVI cable. Is it so that this card cannot run the U2711 at the highest resolution? Do I need to get the fx 3800M to do this? By the way, I am running win xp 64 bit.

    Thanks.

According to notebookcheck, the FX2800M is able to delivery up to 2560 x 1600 via Displayport but only 1920 x 1200 via DVI.

It looks as if you need to get a Displayport adaptor.
