    I'm considering a M6600 as a replacement for my aging Latitude E6500.

I plan on installing my own drives (Crucial M4 512GB SSD and a 512GB Seagate Hybrid) Dell told me I have to order the machine configured with two of their (way overpriced) hard drives or there won't be a header AND bracket present for the 2nd drive. Is that true ?

What are my options here ?

    Thanks !

I've had 6 different m6600's all ordered with a single drive and all have included the necessary hardware (minus the hard drive to bracket screws) to install a second drive without any issue. I would try talking to someone else at Dell.
