Just got a replacement unit for my M6600. While checking the new unit out for proper function, I noticed that the make of the RAM was different. I can swap if one was found to be better.

Not sure if it matters or if one was better than the other.

    hynix (4) x (4GB) 2Rx8 PC3-12800S-11-10-F3
    Samsung (4) x (4GB) 2Rx8 PC3-12800S-11-11-F3

    Thanks
    Scott

dell uses both brands for their ram. they are not so different at all. samsung wanted to buy out hynix, but chickened out in the last minute.
