    hello,

I recently got a M6600 with the 2720QM. I downloaded the intel processor monitor and the max speed that I have seen or at least what is showed in the app is 2.2GHz. Can the turbo boost ever reach the 3GHz range?.

I just got it so I have not yet downloaded any intensive processor software.

    Thanks in advance,

    Polar99

Are you on battery power? Many laptops throttle CPU's down to lowest performance levels to conserve battery life.
