Hi- I've seen discussions at length on here about wanting 2.5" Media Bay's for E6400, and I've since seen lots of solutions for that. I have a 1.8" Intel X18-M and I am trying to locate the 1.8" media bay for the E6400. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks...

You might have to get this one from Dell. I just looked on eBay, and everything they have, surprisingly, is for 2.5" drives. Not 100% sure what's going on here, but Dell might've given up on the 1.8" variant after the initial, negative response.

Thanks Commander Wolf. that's what I found, too. The only way I can find the dell one is with a 120gb hdd preinstalled, too. Was hoping to find one of the 1.8's kicking around somewhere. I'll keep looking!

Wound up picking up a media bay with 120gb 1.8" hdd for $20 on e-bay :) The drive in it is SATA I - I hope it supports full throughput on a SATA II SSD. For $20 I can't go wrong either way I guess. :)
