Do you have the Dell Bluetooth device installed in your E6400? Is it the Dell 370, or the 410 (UWB)?

Look in the "Network" tab on the drivers page. They have drivers for both BT devices. Run the installation.

Are you trying to use a Bluetooth item on the laptop?

If not, you can reinstall the bluetooth drivers for the laptop from Dell's website. Depending on if you have XP/Vista, you can select which driver you want:
    http://support.dell.com/support/dow...s=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=LAT_E6400

It's under the Network tab. Try putting in your service tag to pull up what you actually have...
