Need a decent Blu-ray player or burner for Dell latitude E6510

    hi, I've a dell E6510 with the lovely 1080p screen but intel graphics which is ok with me since the i5 does a pretty decent job of crushing everything other than games, also good with battery life :)

    only thing missing is a blu ray drive. did anyone just get one off ebay and works fine? i've been reading a bunch of threads and lot of people have issues with bluray drives without recent firmware updates. also wondering if a slot load is possible...

    Can tell you neither of those will work with the E6510 (probably not with the 6520 either). They're both 12.7 mm which is too big...you need a 9.5 mm drive and unfortunately, those are quite expensive (expect to pay $150+ from ebay)
