So I was going to post this in the "What Notebook Should I Buy section" but that is not what I need. I already know I will buy a Dell as that is who my company gets their Notebooks with.
I have been given a limited budget to purchase a new notebook for myself. and so far the outlets seems to be the best place for the bang for the buck.

So now the questions, what notebook.
I am looking at a M4400 or a M6400 (no M6500 in the outlets) this would have been my first 17" notebook. I have had many 15" notebooks including my Home one.
So what do I do? I do several things including Program SQL, Network equipment, read a heck of a lot of tech manuals (i have a 24" main monitor and a 22" monitor in portrait mode on my work desk) etc, etc.

I am looking for a notebook that has a larger screen than my E4300 for day to day. I will only be taking this unit from work to home and vise-versa, with my E4300 coming with me when I travel.

So although I like a 15" screen, the 1440x900 is just not going to cut it for me (my Macbook is 1440x900 and just not working for what i do)....

How do people like the 17" any regrets going to this size? weight?
I am looking for some real world suggestions.
