For some reason when I wake my notebook from standby, in order to connect to the LAN in the dorm, I have to reset the network card (Intel 82567 LM Gigabit) before it connects. Before resetting it, the card recognizes the connection, it just won't connect to the internet. It only gives me Local Access until I reset the card, which resolves the problem giving me Local and Internet Access.

Specs are in sig (E4300), and I have all latest drivers from Dell.

    Any ideas?

Also, I have disabled the ability for the computer to "turn off the network card to save power."
