    Is it good 67 fps ? :)

I'm from Spain and I will be able to buy this:

    • Intel® Core™ i5-2410M 2.3GHz
    • DDR3 de 4096 MB (2 X 2048) a 1333 MHz
    • Pantalla LED antirreflectante de alta definición (1366 x 768) de 13,3"
    • LCD Back Cover : Red WWAN
    • Disco duro Serial ATA de 500 GB (7200 rpm)
    • Batería principal de iones de litio de 6 celdas y 65 W/h
    • Camera : Integrated HD Webcam
    • Tarjeta combinada Intel WiFi 1030 802.11 b/g/n/BT3.0
    • 1 año de garantía básica, servicio al siguiente día laborable

    594€.

Is it good? I can't see if it takes HD 3000.

Great discussion here, a lot of my questions have been answered so far!

I'm looking at this machine mainly for remote support sessions (RDP/TeamViewer/logmein etc) and web browsing at a desk, but also need something thats going to go for a while on battery when I'm out and about.

Does anyone know if the external VGA and HDMI outputs can be used simultaneously, using extended desktop on windows (dual display)?

Can anyone offer any advice on real-life battery consumption between the Celeron 847 ULV and i3-2310M processors?

    Thanks

The intel site indicates that the HD 3000 graphics chip is on the i5-2410M processor Intel® Core? i5-2410M Processor (3M Cache, 2.30 GHz)

That model is over £799 (over 900€) in the UK - looks like a good deal to me!

"The laptop will play full screen 720p media (lowest brightness and audio via headphones) for (from 100% power to 7%) 6 hours. Not bad but nowhere near 12 hours or even 9. I don' t think that the machine will reach 9 hours even after tweaking, heavy max battery plus wireless off.

    Celeron: Max TDP, 17w
    i3-2310: Max TDP, 35w

Maybe drop 1.5 hours or +- from my info above but someone else can confirm as I'm not really sure.

As for remote working it's a shame that the Elitebook/probook range are as thick as they are because the super extended BB09 battery manages to play non-stop media for 14+ hours.

If you don't mind doing some of the work yourself, you could save a bit of money fitting an aftermarket SSD and reinstalling Windows (or taking and restoring an image from the original drive). You would still have the original SATA drive from Dell to put in a usb caddy too?

Thanks for this, I don't think TDP is directly related to battery runtime, as its a thermal measure, but at such a big difference i'd expect the Celeron to run longer here. I'm wondering if the i3 can somehow work 'smarter' to stretch out the life a bit more. If the runtime was only an hour or so less for the i3, then its extra grunt might be worth the cost in battery life.

OK, my fault, Vostro costs 700€ with IVA (uf :/).

EDIT: Ok, let's see, with 2GB RAM, It costs: 606€ (100€ less!!!). It's quite good price I think... I need to know if I can buy 2GB Ram and if i will be able to put in Vostro.
EDIT2: I found that: http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/PopupProductDetail.aspx?cs=esbsdt1&l=es&c=es&sku=A5277753 and If you purchase this and the Vostro with 2GB the finale price would be: 640€. I don't know if it is good but I think it is the best price I can find.
EDIT3: I wonder about the screen because some people speak bad about this, is it a problem?
