    Interesting, I've never noticed that until now. Thanks for pointing it out. I wonder how big of a difference it makes?

    I'm not sure. I didn't follow it when I made a clean install, and the system runs flawlessly.

    My E6400 just arrived yesterday. Love the keyboard - I'd say it's better than the t61. The LED screen is blinding at the highest setting.
    Operation SSD will have to wait a few days but it's pretty snappy even with the cheapest hard drive.
