    I reckon that glue would be removable with care if there's a need to call the service technician to look inside. However, it's the type of fix that Dell should be doing themselves at the production stage.

    Yeah, especially a wood glue or elmers or something should be especially easy to remove. I haven't tried this yet but I'm sure the whine will annoy enough at some point.
