... 17.3 inch screens on the M6600? That means it's probably going 16:9... what a shame.

If the reference to 14" (as opposed to 14.1" display) is correct for the E6420 then it's also going down the 16:9 road. Having a slightly higher capacity battery won't offset having a 16:9 display.

16:9 on the E64x0 is just a 1/2" less screen height than 16:10. Why can't they hold to the same screen height and bump the width/footprint up a bit?

If I remember right, the old 16:10 15" notebooks were 15.4". Close enough to your 15.3".

I was thinking about buying a Latitude e6510. But now I wonder if I should wait for the e6520 to come out.

Do you think it would be worth it to wait and see if the e6520 is better in terms of specs and price point?

Ofc the e6520 will be better, now you have to pay 80€ more for nvidia's quadro nvs3100m card (which is about the same as nvidia g310m gpu). With SB, you will have integrated graphics that will have the same, if not better graphic capabilities, using less power (and so possibily giving you longer battery life).

Not to forget the increase in cpu power which seems to be quite substantial.

Hope it comes with a DVI instead of a VGA output
