New Vostro 131 hates Kaspersky?

    Hi everyone,
    Just got my new Vostro 131. Loved it straight out of the box. Everything worked. Fast. Reasonably quiet. Then I installed Kaspersky Pure as an antivirus - we run it on our PC, and our old laptop. It has basically killed the Vostro. It took about 5 hours to finally download the "updated data base" (with broadband wi-fi), and now the internet doesn't work. I can open IE and Chrome, but neither of them will download anything from internet.

    Any clues? I'm no computer wizzkid.

    Have you tried removing Kaspersky? Maybe something got corrupted, hosed your internet?
