I'll be diving into the reinstall as soon as the new laptop arrives. Hopefully no issues. I've been reading about some activiation issues associated with a reinstallation of Win7 as well. Hopefully that can be avoided as well. Never had an activiation issue with a reinstall (as the BIOS check is supposed to avoid this issue) but the dell forums seem to have a number of users that have had activation issues when doing a Win7 reinstall.
