No Downloads Error for Vostro 3400

I went to the Dell support web site looking for updated drivers for my Vostro 3400 and after entering the service tag I received the following message:

No downloads are available for the product above.
To find downloads for a different product, change your product selection.

I then stumbled upon some updates for my machine so the web page should not have given me this error message. Did I miss a secret handshake or something? The machine is registered in my account.

perhaps you simply mistyped your service tag when prompted. Or their server had a problem at that time.
You could still use the manual selection to find downloads for your model.

It's been a persistent problem for me (two months) and I had the web page discover the service tag so I am not sure where the problem lies but no matter as this gets me what I need.
