Please don't flame the forum newbie! :)
I've got a Vostro 3750, want to upgrade the RAM but can't get to it!

The 3750 is different to others in the series (I have only found one site showing it) with both fixings at the front edge, on the left and right of the long edge of the cover plate. Removing them, I expected the plate to simply lift at the front and unclip at the rear but it appears trapped at the centre front by a clip or whatever. I can't easily slide the panel in any direction, I've put enough pressure on the panel to put a good bend in it, I've tried fingernails into various panel gaps to see if anything wants to give way but I can't move anything. I took the three screws out of the front edge trim (under three adhesive covers) to see if that helped but it was similarly fixed ...

There is no Dell service manual for it online yet.

Any hints or tips before I try 'excessive force'?

i don't have this notebook, but i can give you a tip.
look under the feet of the notebook, perhaps a screw is hidden there.

Thanks for that but no luck. I should have too many years of experience to be in this situation :(
I've found three fixings under covers on the front edge and tried them again but still no luck.
I cant believe I've got to remove any more bits ... I'm suspicious the front edge trim is the key but I don't want to damage it by trying too hard!

Has Dell put the service manual online yet?

No manual yet and, as I said, other models are different so their manuals don't help either!
