when the machine arrives it will have the 160gb drive that i already have in my latitude e6500 so im thinking take a quick image of the machine as soon as i get it to an external drive via esata then i chuck in my other drive which should be pretty much the exact same model and use the intel raid to well raid-0 them :)

im just wondering is acronis trueimage upto this since im going from a single drive to a dual drive config will i need to offset any sectors or any carryon like that or will it just appear to acronis as the one drive and take into account that its a larger drive and keep all partitions etc the way they should be , e.g. will it just work and once done boot into windows without me having to swear at it ?

this is only temporary till i save up the cash for a pair of top end 250gb ssd's to put in raid0

what you guys reckon any of you done what i have done with little hassle , as i dont want to have my new toy and not be able to play with it for ages due to problems :)
