Hi all, I know that this is going to be an off topic question but I know that there are some here who are familiar with Dell laptops.

I bought a Dell Vostro 1700 notebook at an estate sale and when I attempt to boot the laptop up there is a "Dell Password Authentication System" requiring a correct password. So my question is what option do I have or do I just have a nice door stop?

    Thanks

    Dan

Not only is it OT but also in the wrong thread, lol. Don't think you'll get many replies on your Dell Vostro in the Panny forum. I'll ask the mods to move it for you.
